Knowing Chetana

Chetana Conscience of Women (CCW) is a “non-for-profit”, “non-governmental” organisation  registered under Societies Act 1860 formed in the year 2011. Inspired by the ideology of equal opportunities for women in social, economical, political and all walks of life Chetana started as a Counselling center catering to wide plethora of needs of women However over the years Chetana has expanded its horizons and has escalated itself in addressing the welfare needs of everyone encircling women i.e children, men for effective positive changes in their families and society in general.To bring about this tremendous change Chetana has been working on Five verticals namely-: Education, Empowerment, Health, Safety and Awareness

Aims and Objectives

  • To create a harmonious, self- reliant and happy society, where women feel free to act confidently, with self-respect & dignity.
  • To awaken the inherent strength of women and providing able leadership for integrated development of the whole society.
  • To empower and enable women to become positive change agents in the society, create women driven models to address developmental needs through the culture of volunteering.
  • To Strengthen the required social institutions to sustain communities.
  • To make efforts for the overall development of the Society;
  • To promote moral and ethical values through social and educational institutions for inculcating self-discipline and developing an ideal National character;
  • To work for resource-less and poor people by active involvement in rural development through public participation and to co-ordinate with social activities;
  • To organize and conduct programs on health, education and sanitation; create public awareness;
  • To implement various integrity based programs to develop the leadership capacity of the society and inculcating the sense of belongings amongst people of all groups and religion.
