What We Do

Chetana understands the importance of health is ensuring quality of life and well being. Our health initiatives ensure accessibility of healthcare services to all. We conduct various training sessions for communities to realize the importance of good health, both mental and physical. Our efforts have raised awareness on numerous health indicators. We conduct free health medical check-up camps at various locations.

The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act or Right to Education Act (RTE) is an Act of the Parliament of India that ensures all children between the age of 6 to 14 shall have the right to free and compulsory elementary education in India. Education is the heart & soul of the United Nations 2030 agenda for SDG (Sustainable Development Goals). SDG Goal no. 4 also ensures inclusive and equitable quality education and promotes lifelong learning opportunities for all. Chetana believes that education is fundamental to sustainable change with long term impact. Our education-related efforts are inspired by the belief that every child has the best start in life with an opportunity to go to school and learn well. In our approach we have been addressing education related issues such as learning levels, student engagement, teaching/learning materials and sponsoring education.

Chetana works for the overall development of the Society by creating awareness on contemporary issues and challenges presented to women and children with the aim of developing community sensitization to the issues.

Chetana has been committed to ensuring sustainable development and realisation of rights of marginalised communities. We aim to raise collective consciousness and inspire individuals to advocate for the rights of marginalised communities.
