12 A registration

12A registration is one of the most important registrations for an NGO in India. Chetana has 12A registration thereby we are eligible for tax exemption under section 11 of the Income Tax Act, 1961. This means that any income received by Chetana will be exempt from tax, and donors can claim tax benefits for their contributions.

80G registration

The 80G registration enables Chetana to issue tax exemption certificates to our donors. This allows our donors to claim deductions on their taxable income for the donations made to Chetana.

CSR 1 registration

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is a concept that refers to a company’s responsibility towards society and the environment. CSR 1 approval is a certification given by the Indian Ministry of Corporate Affairs to NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) that meet certain criteria and are eligible to receive funds from companies under their CSR initiatives. CSR 1 approval allows Chetana to receive funds from companies that have to spend a certain percentage of their profits on CSR activities.

The bye-laws of a Chetana are a set of rules and regulations that govern the functioning of our organization. They define the objectives, powers, functions, and duties of the organization, its members, office bearers, and committees.
